Entech Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Speech & Language Pathologist for a clinic based position in Troy, MI.

***This position can be PART TIME or FULL TIME!***

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and follow-up reports on all assignments
• Provide remedial speech/language services for exceptional clients in special education/clinical programs
• Review client records, organize information, and determine appropriate assessment battery
• Observe clients, interview parents and teachers, assess, evaluate, and analyze data and information collected
• Provide speech services that adhere to the goals and objectives found in each client's IEP
• Administer all necessary evaluations and assessments
• Keep accurate records and provide updates regarding IEPs Communicate on-going student/client progress to parents/guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals
• Maintain ongoing compliance in accordance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) Monitor and supervise Interns, as assigned

Assist TES non-bilingual providers with translation as needed, if bilingual

Requirements Include :

• A Michigan Speech-Language license and Certificate of Clinical Competency (ASHA)
• Proficiency in modern office technology and equipment, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, basic email, and Internet, and learn and adapt to new systems and software
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel to more than one site on any given day with auto insurance liability coverage which meets the minimum for work-related travel (25/50k liability)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-5 years’ experience working with children with special needs as a Speech Provider
• Knowledge of Michigan Administrative Rules of Special Education (MARSE) & Michigan School Code
• Case management experience, clinical and/or school
• Experience in auditing and monitoring of compliance for district, state, and federal regulations regarding special education, including facilitating IEP meetings (for school placements) CPR/First Aid Certification
• Bilingual
