Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, assessing their symptom patterns and needs.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that are tailored to meet their individual goals and preferences, integrating both short- and long-term therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective symptom management.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, exploring various treatment options and emphasizing effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds, including those encountering challenges such as mood disorders, relationship issues, and trauma. Your work will particularly focus on helping individuals manage their mood disturbances through empathetic support and structured therapy. Population groups served may include adults, children, couples, and families within the community, some of whom may face additional adversities such as homelessness, refugee status, or domestic abuse.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
