With multiple full-time, contract positions across diverse programs and sites, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within innovative and supportive environments.

Current Openings:

• Special Education Assessment Teacher : Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations, participate in eligibility meetings, write detailed reports, and support IEP development in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Special Education Teacher – Setting III/IV (Restore Program) : Support high school students with significant behavioral, emotional, and academic needs in a therapeutic program, utilizing crisis prevention, de-escalation, and evidence-based behavior supports.
• Elementary ASD Center-Based Special Education Teacher (Multiple Openings) : Work with elementary students in a structured, center-based Autism program, developing and implementing individualized instruction and positive behavior support strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or 2 accepted; Tier 3 or 4 preferred)
• Preferred experience includes:
  • Special education evaluations and IEP case management
  • Experience in Setting III/IV, EBD, ASD, or Elementary SPED classrooms
  • Familiarity with FBAs, BIPs, and trauma-informed practices
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
• Provide specially designed instruction based on student needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and student progress records
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families
• Foster inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environments

Assignments begin August 31, 2026, spanning the school year, with placements across multiple district sites. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain an active Minnesota Special Education license.
