Responsibilities Oversee the monthly and year‑end close process, including closing entries and reviewing the close task list in an accurate and timely manner. Perform high‑level review of balance‑sheet and P/L accounts with the Controller to ensure financial statement completeness and accuracy. Manage the monthly account reconciliation process for balance‑sheet accounts and corresponding journal entries. Assist the Risk & Controls Manager in implementing the SOX Readiness plan and documenting procedures. Help with the Salesforce Optimization project by implementing best practices and metrics for the team. Review and approve journal entries by team members to ensure accurate recording and correct financial statement impact. Oversee the AP functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of invoices. Support treasury activities, reviewing wire/ACH payments, wire templates, and overseeing weekly cash reconciliations. Review accounts receivable invoices and statements, ensuring adherence to Credit & Collections policies. Monitor employee expenses, ensuring compliance with the company expense policy and approving reimbursements. Manage accounting staff team members and help develop their accounting and career trajectory. Take ownership and drive results across cross‑functional projects, acting resourcefully when projects are not fully defined. Qualifications Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience. Business‑related degree with a preference for Accounting; CPA is required. Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL. Familiarity with Oracle and Salesforce systems. Positive attitude and willingness to work and communicate on a small team. Well‑roundedness and attention to detail, enabling rapid assimilation of duties. Analytical approach to problem‑solving with capability to make data‑driven recommendations.
