Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their individual needs, selecting appropriate assessment tools and setting realistic goals that align with established standards of care.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans, applying targeted physical therapy techniques aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, managing pain, and preventing long-term disabilities.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously in our electronic medical record system, ensuring accurate billing and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform patient screenings for specific conditions such as lymphedema, fall risks, and rehabilitation needs.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaboratively adjust treatment strategies for optimal outcomes.
• Engage in professional development by contributing to presentations, publications, and the education of students and interns, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient clients, including individuals affected by physical injuries, cognitive impairments, psychosocial disorders, and developmental challenges. Our ideal candidates have the versatility to work with a diverse range of patients, from those requiring post-surgical rehabilitation to individuals managing chronic pain or disabilities. Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist License is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or outpatient setting.
• Competence in trigger point therapy techniques and a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and the capability to navigate both clinical and hospital environments.
• Experience working with pediatric patients enhances your ability to cater to a broader client base.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
