Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Rome, a vibrant and welcoming community known for its rich history and beautiful landscapes. You will be working alongside five experienced medical doctors and five nurse practitioners, fostering a team-oriented environment. The workweek consists of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, concluding at 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant, your core responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations to assess and record patient health status.
• Interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies to aid in clinical decision-making.
• Diagnosing various health conditions and formulating effective treatment plans for both chronic and acute illnesses.
• Prescribing medications and managing treatment protocols as necessary.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Physician Assistant role will possess the following qualifications:

• A current DEA number is required.
• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant (minimum of 2 years) in clinical settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or emergency departments.

Compensation and Benefits
