Business Analyst - Remote, Washington, DC
Duration: 3+ months
Seeking a Business Analyst where you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. We are looking for a skilled individual with the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management and Inventory Management Systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne)
- Experience with IT Service Management Systems (preferably ServiceNow)
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and defect analysis
- Understanding of Apache Kafka and data movement between systems
- Experience in validating API behavior and integration rules
- Ability to decompose complex processes into clear business logic
- Working knowledge of Oracle databases for troubleshooting and data tracing
- Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions across multiple teams
- Effective liaison between business and technical teams
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies
- Ability to manage UAT and CAT testing sessions
- Experience creating process documentation, user guides, and SOPs
- Strong communication skills for non-technical audiences
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver
- Collaborative and team-oriented
Expected Deliverables:
- Support the operation and security of FMIS and MDIMS applications
- Work on high-priority issues backlog
- Support test automation and security findings remediation
- Refine backlog items and write stories
- Create test cases and manage UAT/CAT sessions
- Develop test scenarios and track defects
- Create process documentation and support workflows
- Run working sessions and gather requirements
- Conduct impact assessments and drive issue resolution
