Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients in order to develop personalized treatment plans that address individual goals and therapeutic needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a range of methodologies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, adjusting techniques as necessary to align with client preferences.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients via video or phone sessions, providing ongoing support and monitoring progress towards their therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated care and comprehensive treatment for clients.
• Document clinical notes and update electronic medical records (EMR) diligently to ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and organizational protocols.
• Stay current with the latest developments in the field of mental health by attending professional workshops and engaging in continued education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Clarity Pulse Care, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Clients may come from different backgrounds, providing an enriching opportunity to deliver culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required to qualify for the role.
• At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or therapeutic setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in counseling practices.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other technological tools that facilitate telehealth services.
• Strong ethical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to form therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance use counseling, family therapy, or couples therapy is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working in a remote setting or with telehealth platforms is a plus.
