Scheduler Pay Rate: $ 49.81 /hour, depending on experience Contract Length: 3 Years Location: Charleston, West Virginia Raise is currently hiring a Scheduler on behalf of our client. Description The Scheduler to join our clients Project Services team. In this role, you will provide critical project management support, collaborating closely with Project Managers to plan, schedule, and monitor mid-sized capital projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring that project scope, schedule, and cost objectives are successfully met across the development and implementation phases of pipe and facility assets. Responsibilities Schedule Development: Develop and maintain Level 1 through Level 3 project schedules, ensuring alignment with company standard Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and creating the foundational schedule basis. Planning & Integration: Assist in the preparation, integration, and review of detailed engineering and construction schedules, rigorously analyzing sequencing, resourcing, constraints, and dependencies (critical path). Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report project data, costs, and progress metrics from diverse stakeholders across engineering, procurement, construction, and accounting to compile monthly scheduling reporting packages. Risk Management: Participate in Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA / QRA) and High-Risk Identification Meetings (HRIM) to evaluate and mitigate schedule impacts. Project Controls Implementation: Implement and maintain monitoring procedures to safeguard project scope and schedule objectives under the guidance of senior project management. Qualifications 4 to 8 years of directly related project controls and scheduling experience within the energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors. Demonstrated hands‑on experience executing moderate‑risk capital projects (pipe and facilities) spanning both Development and Implementation phases. Strong, practical mastery of scheduling principles, including critical path methodology, logic dependencies, constraint management, and baseline maintenance. Advanced proficiency in industry‑standard scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 or MS Project) and strong data analysis capabilities (Excel/reporting tools). Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate data across cross‑functional teams (engineering, procurement, and accounting). Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Looking for meaningful work? We can help!
