Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine the mental, emotional, social, and behavioral needs of patients.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, educators, and family members, to develop individualized Plans of Care that respond to each patient’s unique diagnosis and circumstances.

• Regularly evaluate and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and emerging needs, ensuring that interventions remain effective and relevant.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage expression and healing through creative arts, fostering a supportive peer environment.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment interventions in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.

• Showcase clinical competency through field observation sessions with a clinical supervisor, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily work with children and families within the school system, addressing a wide range of issues related to mental health and behavioral challenges. This role necessitates sensitivity and adaptability in managing cases involving children with chronic illnesses, emotional distress, and other significant life challenges. You will implement creative and expressive therapeutic methods tailored to each child's unique needs, helping them navigate their circumstances effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Active and relevant state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with children and families.

• Proficient understanding of counseling techniques, crisis intervention methods, and the ability to apply independent judgment in therapeutic settings.

• Experience and skills in facilitation and planning processes for group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
