Sales Tax Consultant

Managing the indirect tax compliance process, the full-time Sales Tax Senior will reconcile sales tax accounts, perform state-specific tax research, and collaborate with in-house tax professionals while working remotely. Key responsibilities Reconcile sales tax book accounts with sales tax returns and review purchase accounts for use tax compliance Manage the preparation and approval of sales and use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings Identify and implement process improvements while responding to notices from taxing jurisdictions and managing various sales tax consulting projects Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Minimum of 3 years of tax experience, including at least 1 year in sales tax consulting Ability to work autonomously while maintaining team collaboration Work authorization in the US Prior experience with international tax firms and progress towards CPA is a plus
