Staff Accountant

Job Description Job Description We're Looking for an Experienced Accountant We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our CPA firm. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a professional who can confidently handle both accounting/bookkeeping and individual and business tax preparation. This position also involves regular face-to-face meetings with clients, so the ability to communicate professionally and confidently is essential. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Applicants must have: * 2-3 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience * 2-3 years of tax preparation experience * Experience preparing both personal and business tax returns * Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements * Experience with reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting * Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work * UltraTax CS experience is a plus * CPA firm/public accounting experience is strongly preferred * Comfortable meeting and communicating face-to-face with clients What You'll Do * Prepare individual and business tax returns * Perform bookkeeping and accounting services * Reconcile
