Make an impact supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near Burnsville, MN. This flexible contract opportunity is open to full-time, part-time, and hybrid (in-person) candidates, with traditional school hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to promote student well-being, academic achievement, and social-emotional growth across general and special education settings.

Qualifications:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
• Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB)
• Deep commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive service delivery
• Proficiency in evidence-based assessment, intervention, and mental health supports
• Preferred: National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP or NCSP-eligible)
• Experience with consultation, intervention, and problem-solving within an MTSS framework
• Strong leadership skills to facilitate professional learning and support adult peers
• Expertise in crisis prevention, intervention, postvention, and mental health strategies
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Strong familiarity with federal and state special education laws and compliance
• Prior experience in urban or multicultural education is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to inform individualized education plans
• Provide direct consultation and intervention support to students, teachers, and families
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to create positive, equitable educational outcomes
• Develop and implement strategies aligned with MTSS and best practices in school psychology
• Support crisis response and preventive mental health programs
• Advocate for inclusive practices across diverse school communities
