Accounting Specialist
Stardom Employment Consultants
We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in manufacturing, inventory, and cost-related accounting functions.
Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Maintain and reconcile inventory and manufacturing-related accounts
- Assist with cost accounting and production expense tracking
- Prepare account reconciliations and support month-end close
- Collaborate with operations to resolve discrepancies and variances
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of inventory and cost accounting
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a production-driven environment
- Direct exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting, not just AP/AR
