Kitchen Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage kitchen staff , including cooks, dishwashers, and food service assistants
• Develop and implement menus for residents , ensuring that meals are nutritious, appealing, and meet dietary restrictions
• Manage inventory and ordering of food, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment , adhering to all health and sanitation standards
• coordinate with dietary department to ensure accurate food preparation and service
• Monitor food quality and presentation , making adjustments as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives , including quality control and food safety training
• Collaborate with other departments , including nursing and dietary, to ensure seamless service

Kitchen Supervisor Requirements: •
• Prior experience in food service or hospitality industry , with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds , as well as stand and walk for long periods
• Excellent communication and leadership skills , with the ability to manage a diverse team
• Strong attention to detail , with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
• Flexibility to work varied shifts , including evenings and weekends
