Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. Our work schedule primarily includes Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments that take into account the unique cognitive, emotional, and sociocultural challenges faced by older adults.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, and dementia-related conditions.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including both individual therapy and family support sessions, aimed at resolving geriatric psychiatric issues.

• Collaborating with geriatric psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention services to elderly patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on the geriatric population, where mental health issues can be exacerbated by physical health challenges, significant life changes, and social isolation. You will be working directly with elderly individuals who may experience a range of conditions, including but not limited to, major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and cognitive impairments like dementia. Your role is critical in providing empathetic support and effective treatment to improve the mental well-being of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in a geriatric setting.

• Strong understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and family therapy sessions tailored to older adults.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a patient-centered, empathetic approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
