Strategic Business Development Manager

Sales Hunter | Deal Closer | Growth Driver

Ready to chase new opportunities, build strong customer partnerships, and drive real growth? JA Frate is looking for a high-energy Strategic Business Development Manager who loves the hunt, knows how to open doors, and can turn customer needs into smart transportation solutions.

This role is built for a self-motivated sales professional who can grow key accounts, uncover new lanes and services, and partner with operations to deliver dependable results.

What You'll Own

• Hunt for growth opportunities within key accounts.

• Build trusted relationships with decision-makers.

• Grow revenue, margin, and customer share of wallet.

• Cross-sell transportation and logistics solutions.

• Keep a strong pipeline, follow up fast, and close opportunities.

• Partner with operations to solve issues and deliver dependable service.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, 3PL, or a related field preferred.

• Proven success growing accounts and building customer relationships.

• A true hunter mindset-confident, curious, competitive, and driven.

• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to understand customer needs and create practical solutions.
