Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitate a variety of therapeutic sessions including individual, couple, and family therapy, employing evidence-based interventions.

• Maintain comprehensive, confidential client records using our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in regular supervision and consultation with fellow therapists to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed about the latest practices in the field.

• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring clients have the resources to manage acute distress effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from adolescents to older adults, each dealing with various challenges such as relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. As an LMFT, you will engage with diverse families, offering interventions designed to strengthen familial bonds and support healthier communication patterns. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Valid, active LMFT license in Maryland.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, emphasizing family and relationship counseling.
