Role Details - What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established procedures.
• Verify result accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for examination as necessary.
• Documentation of all laboratory processes, onboarding new staff or students, and maintaining lab quality assurance standards is key.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of employment.
• Maintain your certification for the duration of your employment.
