Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols with utmost precision.
• Assure the integrity of test results through thorough analysis, troubleshooting any discrepancies, and maintaining lab instruments through regular calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Play a role in the specimen collection process and prepare samples with diligence for various testing requirements.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, lend guidance to new team members, and assist in maintaining compliance with laboratory standards.
• Ensure that the workplace remains a clean and safe environment while meeting all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Commit to maintaining your certification throughout your tenure.
