Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology to immunology-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for examination as needed.
• Keep meticulous records of all tests performed, assist in training new team members or students, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and secure workplace that follows all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain valid certification throughout employment.
