Key Responsibilities\n

• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients to facilitate a safe and supportive counseling environment.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing DSM-5 criteria and best practices.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on client needs and circumstances.

• Lead therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families to address various mental health issues and interpersonal challenges arising from those issues.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Document client sessions, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Collaborate with external specialists and resources as needed to provide holistic care to clients.

• Maintain a high level of clinical expertise by staying informed of current trends in mental health therapy and methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a LMFT in the state of Washington is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively articulate treatment goals and progress.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
