Payroll & Benefits AdministratorOur client is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join their team in a contract-to-hire capacity. This individual will be responsible for administering payroll and employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing exceptional support to employees and leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing payroll and benefits processes in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll accurately and on time for all employees.Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour regulations.Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.Manage benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and employee leave programs.Reconcile payroll and benefit deductions and conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy.Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll and benefits issues.Prepare payroll, benefits, and HR-related reports as needed.Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.Assist with workers' compensation claims, disability programs, and leave administration.Identify opportunities to improve payroll and benefits processes and increase efficiency.
