Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary: $25-$28/Hour depending on experience Location: Downtown Tampa Why This Opportunity Stands Out Step into a high-impact AP role supporting a multi-location retail network Gain hands-on ownership of trade/merchandise payables (not just transactional AP) Strong exposure to vendor relationships and account management Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that builds efficiency and expertis Opportunity to strengthen reconciliation and discrepancy resolution skills Visibility into weekly payment cycles and month-end close processes Stable, essential industry with consistent transaction flow Autonomy to problem-solve and drive issue resolution Collaborative team environment with cross-functional interaction Key Responsibilities For The Accounts Payable Specialist Process and validate high-volume merchandise vendor invoices (over 500 weekly) Reconcile vendor statements to AP subledger and resolve discrepancies Investigate short pays, credits, and invoice variances Support weekly payment runs and ACH postings Assist with month-end close to ensure accurate AP balances Qualifications For The Accounts Payable Specialist 2+ years of accounts payable experience Retail or multi-location preferred Strong reconciliation and discrepancy resolution experience Ability to manage volume with accuracy #J-18808-Ljbffr
