Healthcare Regulatory Associate Attorney – Houston

Direct Counsel is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Associate to join a highly respected Am Law firm in Houston. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate to join a sophisticated healthcare practice advising providers and healthcare industry clients on complex regulatory, compliance, and dispute-related matters.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of healthcare regulatory experience, preferably within a law firm environment, with strong exposure to healthcare provider regulations, administrative litigation, investigations, and payor disputes. Candidates should be comfortable interacting directly with clients and handling sophisticated healthcare regulatory matters in a collaborative team setting.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• 3–5 years of healthcare regulatory experience
• Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations affecting providers and healthcare entities
• Experience with administrative litigation, investigations, and payor disputes
• Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Strong academic credentials and immediately transferable skills
• Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility to become licensed in Texas
