Global Financial Crimes (GFC) Senior KYC Advisory Officer In the Legal & Compliance division, this Vice President‑level position supports the firm’s enterprise‑wide Financial Crimes Prevention efforts. The role sets KYC policy in coordination with Global Financial Crimes Advisory and Legal colleagues, implements KYC control changes and enhancements, and works cross‑functionally with Operations, Business Units, and Technology to promote consistent KYC practices worldwide. What You’ll Do Draft, maintain, and advise on the firm’s Global KYC Standards, including supplements and additional guidance as needed. Plan, coordinate, and track the implementation of the Global KYC Standards and related regional standards across the enterprise. Advisory to key stakeholders on KYC regulatory and policy requirements and suggest enhancements in response to regulatory changes. Assist regional GFC Financial Crimes Advisory teams in the periodic refresh process, coordinating with Operations, Business Units, and Technology to implement enhancements and control changes. Manage governance and oversight of KYC efforts, including the KYC Standards Committee and working groups with GFC, Business Units, Operations, and Technology. Coordinate with GFC Strategy on the implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Customer Risk Ranking controls. Stay current on industry best practices, guidance, and regulatory landscape including the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, FATF, and the 5th Money Laundering Directive. Implement, maintain, and enhance KYC controls enterprise‑wide. Lead a small team of KYC Advisory staff. What You’ll Bring 8–12 years of relevant Anti‑Money Laundering or KYC Advisory experience, preferably at a large financial institution, consulting firm, asset manager, law firm, or regulatory body. Deep understanding of AML laws, sanctions, and anti‑corruption regulations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions in a time‑sensitive environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and effective time management. Sound judgment and the ability to appropriately manage and elevate issues. Outstanding interpersonal skills and a team‑player attitude. Strong presentation skills. Benefits Base pay ranges from 120,000 to 205,000 USD per year at commencement, with compensation potentially including commissions, incentive and discretionary bonuses, long‑term incentive packages, and other company‑sponsored benefits. The role requires office attendance three days per week, including two Anchor Days for in‑office collaboration.
