This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and interested in learning.This position offers hands-on experience in a fabrication shop where you'll assist welders and machine operators while learning valuable industry skills.ResponsibilitiesWork with hand and power toolsCut and prepare raw materials for productionPerform hydro testing on fabricated partsMove materials and completed products throughout the shopMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and shop guidelinesSupport fabrication and production operations as neededQualificationsMechanically inclined and eager to learnPrevious shop, manufacturing, construction, or mechanical experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to read a tape measure and use basic hand tools preferredDependable and punctual with a strong work ethicAbility to lift materials and work in a manufacturing environmentPositive attitude and willingness to grow with the companyWhat We OfferOvertime opportunities on Fridays3-day weekends with a Monday-Thursday scheduleOn-the-job trainingCareer growth opportunities into welding and machine operator rolesStable, long-term employment with advancement potentialJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
