BOOKKEEPER (FULL TIME)

Bookkeeper Location: Canteen High Point – 3112 Horseshoe Lane, Charlotte, NC 28208. Schedule: Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pay Range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour. Qualifications Previous experience with Microsoft Excel. Job Summary Maintains a complete, systematic set of records of business transactions for the assigned business unit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Verify, allocate, and post business transaction details to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, unit reports, check stubs, and computer printouts. Summarize details in separate ledgers or computer files; transfer data to general ledger. Reconcile and balance accounts. Compile records to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business. Calculate associate wages from time cards; submit payroll registers for payment and follow up on payroll issues. Prepare tax reports. Compute, types, and mail monthly statements to customers. Complete records to or through trial balances. Perform other duties as assigned.
