Bookkeeper

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a client in the legal field in Charlotte, NC . This is a full-time, 100% onsite, permanent, direct hire position with full benefits . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of bookkeeping experience and excellent Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks skills. Job Description: Maintain understanding of Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts Complete monthly and quarterly reports Review and post journal entries Perform monthly reconciliations Handle reporting of financial information on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Oversee payments to invoices received from vendors pertaining to clients and/or individual locations Prepare and record all deposits to the appropriate banking accounts Allocate balances due to each location for shared services Journal entries Collect and enter W-9 information for approved vendors Assist with regulatory reporting Compile reports for 1099 vendors Perform trust accounting functions Perform bank reconciliations Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration 5+ years of professional bookkeeping in a legal setting or similar Hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm) Onsite Salary range: $62,000 - $68,000 Benefits include 401K, 3 weeks of PTO, Paid Holidays Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Administrative Industries Legal Services and Staffing and Recruiting This job posting is active.
