Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations encompassing physical assessments and meticulous review of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by proficiently interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Collaborate with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing the surgical environment, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and distributing instruments during operations
• Deliver exemplary pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and providing patient education

Education

• A Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Previous clinical rotations focused on surgical practices are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in the state
