Speech Therapist

We are hiring per diem Speech Therapist to join our dynamic care team at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center! Weekly pay up to $60 an hour. As a Speech Therapist, you provide resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload while participating in the clinical team process. Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy. SLP licensein Massachusetts required. Prior experience in long term care required. Duties & Responsibilities: Screens residents and develops appropriate care plans. Provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care including individual and group sessions. Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program. Consults with and trains residents and caregivers. Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor. Documents activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis. Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations. Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers and supervisor. Participates in clinical program development and implementation.
