Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title

Job Description: Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality 3D modeling in Solidworks and Autocad drawing. Responsible for troubleshooting production issues Troubleshooting of tooling and fixture issues, both mechanical and electronics Testing and validation of new fixture and tooling designs and modifications Provide technical support and assistance to achieve maximum operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provide technical guidance and lean guidance to cross-functional teams. Ability to determine and design manufacturing flows and processes. Ability to determine capacities and drive capacity improvement projects. Attend program core team, design reviews, DQR and DFM meetings, and provide manufacturing feedback. Perform other duties as directed by the Global Manufacturing Leadership

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to coordinate well with others. Problem-solving skills Ability to read blueprints, job data sheets, safety instructions, etc. Good written and oral communication skills Self-motivated

Education & Experience:

3-5 years of experience working in a similar position is preferred. Experience with assembly operations and material handling Experience with manual and automated welding processes Demonstrated project management skills. Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab preferable Hands-on experience with Simulation software will be an added advantage.
