Associate Attorney

Full-time / In-office (NO RECRUITERS)

Cozza Law Group is seeking an associate attorney with one to two years of law firm experience to join our Pittsburgh office. This position offers a balanced practice of approximately 50% litigation and 50% transactional work , providing the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple disciplines.

You will work directly with Founder and Managing Partner Rocco Cozza, gaining practical experience and guidance as you grow as an attorney.

What you will do

• Support litigation matters through legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, case preparation, depositions, and court appearances.
• Handle transactional assignments, including entity filings and basic contract drafting and review.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and help move their matters forward.
• Collaborate with our attorneys on matters across the firm’s practice areas.

Who we are looking for

• An attorney with an active Pennsylvania bar license and one to two years of experience in a law firm.
• A thoughtful writer and communicator with strong attention to detail.
• Someone with a strong work ethic who takes responsibility and follows through.
• A person who is eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and committed to improving.
• A colleague who treats clients and coworkers with kindness, empathy, and respect.

Courtroom experience is a plus, but it is not required. We value your willingness to learn and the way you treat people alongside your legal skills.
