Key Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License and current K-12 Special Education Certificate.
• IVP Fingerprint Card required.
• Extensive experience with students who present emotional disabilities and/or additional qualifying conditions.
• Proficient in supporting students with prosocial and self-regulatory skills.
• Knowledgeable about meeting the needs of diverse learners, including at-risk, ethnically diverse, limited English proficient, and exceptional students.
• Strong background in developing and implementing special services in adherence with federal, state, and district guidelines.
• Completion of Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training, or willingness to participate in staff development as needed.
• Must be available for onsite work; virtual instruction not considered.

• Lead a self-contained classroom focused on students with significant behavior and learning needs, especially autism spectrum and emotional disorders.
• Design and execute individualized educational plans and structured support strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom setting promoting growth in academic, social, and self-regulatory domains.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure all services meet regulatory standards and maximize student achievement.
