What You’ll Need:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Flexibility and commitment to supporting diverse learners
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging and differentiated instruction to meet varied student needs
• Assessing student progress and adapting strategies as necessary
• Supporting students with learning, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and district policies
• Participating in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team reviews, and ongoing professional development
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom climate
