Working closely with the Controller and finance team, he/she will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and maintain strong internal controls. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations in the healthcare industry. Advanced Excel skills are required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.* Support the development and maintenance of the annual budget and periodic forecasting. Collaborate with other departments to gather data, analyze variances, and provide financial insights for decision-making.* Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.* Analyze financial data, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial reports to highlight key performance indicators. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on the analysis.* Participate in audits, both internal and external, and coordinate responses to audit inquiries. Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements.* Manage Billings department; preserve the timeliness and accuracy guidelines in which the departments should be operating.* Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance accuracy in financial reporting.**Qualifications/Education:*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the healthcare industry or a similar field.* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry.* Experience with corporate/payroll tax handling.* Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
