Program Manager

Rutgers University is hiring a Program Manager for the Outpatient Services within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. The role requires providing clinical and administrative direction, monitoring program integrity for regulatory compliance, and implementing best practice interventions to ensure effective program operation. Highlights Directs the administrative and clinical organization of assigned outpatient programs. Conducts interviews and makes hiring recommendations for vacant positions. Maintains current knowledge of mental health trends and participates in training to uphold best practices. Reviews clinical documentation quality and provides feedback to clinicians. Requires a Master's Degree in behavioral health discipline plus five years of postgraduate experience, and at least two years of supervisory experience; a doctorate can substitute for two years of experience. Extensive knowledge of behavioral healthcare prevention services and strong leadership skills in unionized settings are essential.
