This remote position presents a unique opportunity to work in an outpatient office setting, engaging with clients through telehealth platforms. Atlantic Health Group’s flexible working arrangements allow you to have autonomy over your caseload, ranging between 10 to 30 billable hours per week, with no on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for clients experiencing mental health challenges, utilizing the most current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Deliver effective psychotherapy and counseling tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a variety of mental health and dual disorders.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions, such as crisis intervention, brief therapy, couples counseling, and skills training to ensure effective care.
\n
• Participate in collaborative consultations with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to enhance treatment planning and decision-making processes.
\n
• Manage treatment documentation, including maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions, preparing reports, and coordinating with relevant external parties with client consent.
\n
• Assess client progress and determine the appropriate level of care necessary, including coordinating psychiatric admissions in partnership with supervising psychiatrists and psychologists.
\n
• Provide clinical consultation regarding client needs, sociocultural determinants, and community resources, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

The clients you will serve represent a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences, facing challenges that may include mental health disorders, relationship difficulties, or coping with life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Texas, or a Psy.D.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing psychotherapy services, particularly within a telehealth context.

• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Experience working within an outpatient environment, particularly with mixed modalities such as individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
