Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico OT license (NMRLD) and New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) certification (must be obtained by start date; the NMPED process is typically quick with proactive effort)
• Experience or interest in supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Ability and willingness to travel between multiple schools throughout the district
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Prior school-based OT experience preferred

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and direct services to students of all ages
• Create, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Travel onsite to various schools to support continuity of care across the district
• Supervise and provide guidance to COTAs, ensuring high standards of care and professional growth
• Maintain detailed documentation and participate in student planning meetings
