Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico state licensure (NMRLD) and NMPED certification (or able to obtain NMPED certification by start date)
• Previous experience or strong interest in working in school-based occupational therapy
• Comfortable supervising COTAs and providing mentorship
• Willingness and reliable means to travel between various school campuses
• Flexibility to adapt your practice to the unique needs of each setting and age group
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver a full spectrum of occupational therapy services to a diverse student caseload throughout the school year
• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans targeting student goals
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring the delivery of high-quality interventions
• Maintain thorough records for compliance and contribute to IEP processes
• Engage with educators and families to maximize each student’s success
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative environment at each school site
