• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services onsite across multiple schools throughout the district.
• Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), fostering strong partnerships and ensuring quality care.
• Assess and address the needs of students from early childhood through high school, adapting interventions for diverse developmental stages.
• Travel between school campuses as required; reliable transportation and adaptability are a must.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

Required Qualifications:

• Active OT licensure in New Mexico (NMRLD) by the assignment start date.
• NMPED certification (fast to obtain for those who act quickly).
• Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working with all ages and ability levels.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations within the district as needed.
• Strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills.
