Fabricator / Welder

Underground Solutions (UGS) is currently seeking a Fabricator to perform welding and fabrication on our WEKO-SEAL product line that has been used for 40 years and over 300,000 installations in trenchless internal joint seals. UGS, a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure and electrical conduit market with a portfolio of proprietary and patented technologies targeting water and wastewater infrastructure improvement and undergrounding of electrical conduit.Responsible for fabrication and welding for WEKO Seal product line and manufacturing rubber sealsPerform welding; fabrication; rigging; lifting heavy objects in a safe manner using forklift and scissors lifts; use cutting equipment, torch and plasma saw; and assemble projects, as well as general repair and maintenance of shop equipmentDirectly support field crews in troubleshooting material issuesPrepare products for shipment, as well as move parts and heavy frames on and off machinery and throughout the facilityPerform fabrication equipment evaluation and testing, using measuring and diagnostic devices to adjust, test, and repair equipmentPerform repairs and maintenance on fabrication equipment to include hydraulics, electrical, robotics, and other componentsCommunicate and maintain good relations with vendors and customersFollow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and lawsQUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredMig welding experience, stainless mig welding and some tig welding preferredFamiliar and comfortable with basic shop tools, drills, grinders, impacts, and measuring Instruments.Experience operating a forklift with certification or ability to be certifiedExperience operating an Oxy/Acetylene torch preferredFamiliar with fabrication machinery such as iron worker, band saw, roller, as well basic power and air toolsDetail oriented, ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independentlyMust be able to learn to troubleshoot mechanical problems as neededWell versed in shop math and layout processes, experience reading tape measure and understand measurements down to a 32ndMust be available to work overtime on short noticeMust be able to write neatly and maintain a clean and orderly work areaAbility to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs., 75 lbs. on occasionCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Starting pay rate of $25/hour plus overtime pay with career growth opportunitiesFull benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Long and Short-Term Disability, and Life InsuranceMatching 401kTuition Assistance14 days Paid Time Off and 10 paid Holidays per calendar yearAzuria is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
