Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Director of Product Management to lead global strategy and commercialization for molecular diagnostics in transplant medicine. The role involves defining product vision, managing P&L, and directing cross-functional teams to develop innovative diagnostic solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and roadmap aligned with market and customer needs
- Lead portfolio management and commercialization strategy for molecular diagnostics
- Develop and launch innovative solutions addressing transplant medicine challenges
- Manage P&L responsibility and guide global teams to deliver breakthrough technologies
- Conduct voice of customer research and competitive analysis to inform strategy
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 6 years product management experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8 years in life sciences
- 5+ years leading global teams
- Deep expertise in molecular diagnostics technologies including NGS, PCR, and genotyping
- Strong understanding of transplant diagnostics, HLA typing, and histocompatibility applications
- IVD product development and commercialization experience in clinical diagnostics
- Proven P&L management with track record of driving revenue growth
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%
Compensation: $176,000–$245,000 base
