Position Summary

The Benefits Coordinator supports the daily administration of employee benefit programs for employees in the United States. This entry-level position assists with maintaining accurate employee records, reconciles vendor invoices, assists employees with benefit questions, and coordinates with benefit vendors and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

· Retrieve and open mail; distribute to appropriate team or department member

· Assist employees with benefit questions, enrollment procedures, required documents, and available resources.

· Communicate with benefit vendors regarding enrollment, eligibility, billing, and data discrepancies.

· Handle Opt Out payments for those eligible union employees.

· Review vendor discrepancy reports and coordinate necessary corrections.

· Reconcile monthly benefit invoices for U.S. union and non-union plans and submit payment into Concur.

· Process FSA enrollments and complete weekly FSA funding.

· Oversee Cobra audit

· Protect confidential employee, medical, financial, and benefit information.

· Support benefit-related projects and perform other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

· Basic accounting, billing, or invoice-reconciliation knowledge.

· Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.

· Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet established deadlines.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow detailed procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· One to three years of administrative, Human Resources, benefits, or data-entry experience.

· Experience using an HR, payroll, benefits, or enterprise database such as Oracle.

· Familiarity with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA, HSA, or 401(k) plans.

· Knowledge of HIPAA or employee-benefit privacy requirements. xhyhwjd
