Seasonal Tax Accountant

Benefits: * Bonus based on performance
* Paid time off Experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer — $35-$65/hr with bonus option Approximately 10 weeks during tax season. 24-40 hours a week based on employee preference and company needs. What We're Looking For * We are seeking an experienced individual tax preparer who can prepare simple to complex 1040s.
* We are seeking a tax preparer who can identify missing or inconsistent information, compare the return to prior years, and complete the return with minimal corrections.
* CPA or EA credentials are preferred but not required. Experience using Drake Tax is a plus. Productivity and accuracy are a must. Schedule, Location & Compensation * This is a seasonal position expected to run for approximately during the 2027 tax season with training beginning in mid-January. Remote work is an option. We prefer a consistent schedule with some availability during business hours. What you will do * Prepare tax returns
* File individual 1040 tax returns
* Invoice/collect payments
* Interact with clients Flexible work from home options available.
