Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs. \n Thoroughly assess and diagnose mental health disorders, and collaboratively develop detailed, achievable treatment plans with clients. \n Engage in continuous monitoring of client progress towards treatment goals, adapting plans as necessary based on feedback and clinical assessments. \n Provide crisis intervention services when needed, and refer clients to relevant community resources to ensure comprehensive care. \n Document all client interactions and treatment sessions in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. \n Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay informed of the latest research in mental health. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing personal challenges, couples seeking to improve their relationships, and families wanting to navigate crises together. You will be committed to promoting mental well-being regardless of age, background, or socio-economic status, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs and challenges of each client. Qualifications\n \n A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Connecticut. \n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field. \n A minimum of 4 years of direct experience providing outpatient mental health services. \n Proven expertise in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and maintaining a client-centered focus in treatment. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling rapport-building with a wide range of clients. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and marginalized communities. \n Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital therapy tools that enhance client engagement. \n Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or systemic therapy. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
