Social Media Manager

Job Title: Social Media Manager – Music & Artist Strategy Overview We're seeking a Social Media Manager with 5+ years of experience within artist management companies, overseeing artist brands and digital strategy in the music industry; ideally within Pop, Top 40, and/or Electronic genres. This role is for someone who understands the full social media and music landscape, from pre-TikTok platforms to today's video-first culture, and who can move fluidly between strategic oversight and hands‑on, platform‑native content creation. You’ll work closely with the Artist and their internal teams to lead content strategy, execute daily social tasks, and drive meaningful engagement across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Snapchat, Facebook, Discord, and fan pages. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in social media and brand strategy for artist management companies; candidates with experience on an artist management team for an artist with millions of engaged fans/followers in the Pop/Top 40/Electronic space strongly preferred. Deep understanding of the music industry, culturally and digitally, and how to navigate fan culture, influencer trends, subcultures, and platform evolution. Copywriting and storytelling skills, with a tone that feels authentic, conversational, and music-savvy. Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple social calendars, campaigns, and timelines at once, balancing strategic planning with high-volume, hands‑on content creation and execution. Strong team player with clear, efficient communication. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Brand Development Develop and implement customized social strategies aligned with the Artist's brand, identity, and career milestones, identifying growth opportunities across established and emerging platforms. Translate broader music marketing and branding goals into compelling digital campaigns; stay current on platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes so strategy evolves with the landscape. Content Creation & Execution Lead ideation, organization, and execution of creative content concepts across all Artist social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.), developing platform-native content that taps into trends, subcultures, and chronically online moments in ways that feel authentic to the brand. Own day-to-day channel management: posting cadence, copywriting, community engagement, and reactive content opportunities, ensuring the Artist's voice stays consistent, authentic, and on-brand. Develop culture-savvy campaigns around releases, collaborations, touring, and broader industry moments, while also prioritizing lifestyle, personality-driven, and culturally relevant content that builds affinity and keeps channels active between major marketing moments. Maintain a detailed, well-organized content calendar for the Artist and wider team. Analytics & Optimization Track performance across platforms and deliver regular reporting with actionable insights. Monitor content performance over time to identify creative strengths, engagement patterns, and optimization opportunities; test and refine formats and posting schedules for continuous organic growth.
