Shipping/Receiving Clerk
$19 - $22 per hourTomenson Machine Works
This job posting is for West Chicago the suburb. Approximately 1 hour from the City of Chicago.
This position is on-site and the hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday
We are looking for a person to work in our shipping department as well as operate an electric sit-down forklift to help with incoming deliveries, outgoing deliveries, and distributing raw material to CNC work stations.
Responsibilities
- Receiving raw materials and recording them into our system
- Transporting raw materials to CNC work stations
- Staging raw materials for production operations
- Loading finished goods onto trucks
- Packing boxes with finished materials
- Assisting with other shipping and receiving activities
- Keeping your work area clean

- Ability to stand for majority of shift
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to safely operate equipment for extended periods
Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
