Your Role In this role you will navigate complex workplace issues, partner closely with experienced colleagues and attorneys, and expand your knowledge across multiple jurisdictions. What You’ll Do Support clients in proactively addressing workplace and HR-related risk by offering practical guidance that strengthens compliance and positive employee relations. Partner with clients across the United States by phone and email to understand workplace concerns, assess risk, and provide thoughtful, practical guidance tailored to their business environment. Build collaborative relationships with clients and internal partners while delivering responsive, professional, and supportive service. Provide excellent service that builds trust and encourages clients to continue turning to our team for HR risk management support. Use sound judgment and strong research skills, including our HR compliance library, to offer clear guidance, consultation, and education to clients. Keep client interactions and service records well documented and up to date in our CRM and related communications. Help develop and update client-facing tools and resources using current legal developments and HR best practices. Research and create consulting and educational resources that are practical, comprehensive, and genuinely helpful to clients. Look for opportunities to help more clients benefit from our HR risk management services. Stay current on HR trends, legal developments, and best practices to support high-quality client guidance. What We’re Looking For Hold a PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification, or be willing to obtain certification within six months of hire. Hold a degree in Human Resources or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience. Bring at least five years of experience at the HR Generalist or HR Manager level. Demonstrate broad knowledge of federal employment law and the employment laws of at least one state. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, along with sound analytical judgment. Be comfortable using technology and communicating by phone as part of daily client service and collaboration. Thrive in a professional, team-oriented environment that values collaboration and accountability. Bring strong attention to detail, sound decision-making, and the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and assess risk thoughtfully. Work efficiently, manage multiple priorities, and stay organized in a fast-paced consulting environment. Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, and the role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
