Job Title: Entry Level Payroll Coordinator

Job Description

The Payroll Coordinator ensures accurate and compliant certified payroll reporting across multiple projects. This role focuses on generating, reconciling, and troubleshooting payroll reports, maintaining prevailing wage compliance, and providing exceptional service to internal teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a professional office-based role such as banking, human resources, accounting, payroll, or similar administrative work.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, field staff, and subcontractors.
• High level of reliability and accountability, consistently meeting deadlines and commitments.
• Self-motivated work style with the ability to perform effectively without micromanagement.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and projects.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., offering some flexibility within that window. After approximately 90 days, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule that blends in-office and remote work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
